Star Trek Online Tips and Tricks

This hub will be discussing little tips and tricks that have to do with Star Trek Online.   I already have a hub for the game itself, a tutorial walkthrough and even one about ships.  This one is for whatever does not fit into any of those categories.  These shall be small tips and tricks that I come across in the course of the game.

This is something, I don't think they really need, but if you want to use it with the game, you have to go into your option and you can get it to work.  As far as I know Winamp and Itunes are supported.

PVP is player versus player. It can be fun as long as you know what you are doing. I like the ground ones better, but a lot of people love space better. The way I look at it is its like hide and seek. The best way to work these is to work in teams, because otherwise, you will be outmatched.

Once you get to Lieutenant 6. you can start doing these. If you are looking to get energy points, this is the perfect way to do it without having to sell items.

Make sure you spend your skill points so that you can be promoted.  I have seen  some people with Ensign 19 in the game. 

In the course of the game, you do pick up items.  They range from common to rare based off the color.  Most of them have MKs attached to them.  They are based off rank.

• Ensign: No mark (Standard Issue)
• Lieutenant: Mk I, Mk II
• Lieutenant Commander: Mk III, Mk IV
• Commander: Mk V, Mk VI
• Captain: Mk VII, Mk VIII
• Rear Admiral Lower Half: Mk IX, Mk X
• Rear Admiral Upper Half, Vice Admiral: Mk XI, Mk XII
