Star Trek Online: Featured Episodes

So far, STO has three series that they had created. With each, the quality of those featured episodes has improved. The Breen Series was the first one. When I first played it, it took some time to figure out what to do. Now, when I play them, I just breeze through the missions like no tomorrow. Then there is the Devidian Series which has to do with the Devidians. Finally there is the Cloaked intentions which had to do with the Romulans and Remans. There was one mission in that series that got me stumped. When trying to do it, for the life of me I could not figure it out, but thinking back to the Breen Series, you had to do something similar. This series in fact had cut scenes. This probably was the best of all of the series that have created so far.

When it comes to each of the series, they always released them on Saturdays which is when most people are able to play.  With the first two, there was no hickups like it was with the Cloaked Intentions as many players had left the game at that time.  People returned with cloaked Intentions and it felt like it was when it was Open Beta and the first few months of the game.  It is understandable that they were not prepared for it all.  The server was running slow.  They had to do emergency maintenance because of that.  The first two missions that was what it was like, but once week three rolled around, it tamed down as they were more prepared than they were before.

With each series, you did get weapons, but you also got items that you were able to get for a short time like the Breen Bridge Officer, the cane, and the Reman Bridge Officer.  In all, they are worth it to play.  Once you get to lieutenant 6, they are a very easy way to level up.  Just doing the Dividian and Cloaked Intentions would get you to lieutenant 10.  The Dividian and Cloaked intentions, the minimum rank is Lieutenant 6 while the Breen series is Lieutenant 10.  So in reality if you do these missions from Lieutenant 6, you can honestly probably make it to Lieutenant Commander with just doing these series.
