Popular Web Browsers

I have been using the internet since January of 2008. Since then, I have used different browsers over the years.

Since I had started learning the internet at college, my first browser was Netscape Navigator.  Why not internet explorer?  My Instructor like netscape better so that is what we used.  To this day, I can't stand internet explorer.  Even if I had started out with internet explorer, I still probably would have changed it to something different.

Internet Explorer is a browser that comes with Windows.  I have never liked this browser.  I do a lot of html/css coding these days and this browser is only one that usually gives me such a headache when it comes to coding.  When it comes to creating rounded corner, I have to create graphics in order for it to work.

Avant is something I have tried. In fact I do have it installed on my computer right now. Its a internet explorer based browser.   It does have some great features in the browser too.  There is a place online if you have an account that it will backup your bookmarks for you.  So anytime you delete the browser and have to reinstall, you still have your bookmarks.

This one, I have used for a long time. I am not sure what year, I had started using this one. This one is made by the people whom made Netscape. Now, Netscape is no more.  This is probably the one browser, that I use the most.

This is another one I had tried. When I had first gone to Netscape's website and had found out that they were not producing netscape anymore, they directed people to try flock. I tried and I still use it.  Its basically firefox with some social media addons.  All firefox addons work with flock.

This is another web Browser that I have tried.  It is a really good browser when it comes to surfing the net and having addons, but it lacks java script compatibility.  Another thing, is that to me it seems to be a mix between internet explorer and mozilla.

I have tested this one out also.  Its really not a bad browser, but the biggest problem is that it is not like firefox when it comes to having add ons.  I think a lot of us today, are more dependent on addons in order to anything on the internet these days that it makes it harder to use anything else.  It really good browser if you don't need the extras.
