Hubpages Vs.Squidoo

Hubpages and Squidoo are two different sites. They both are similar, but at the same time are different. Squidoo is where I had started and within a month of joining squidoo, I joined here at hubpages. I know at times it can be hard to compare the two sites to each other, but this is what I am about to do.  Hubpages and Squidoo are totally two different animals even though there are simularities.

Both Sites, you can make money through writing about topics that interest you. So if you want to write about the latest movie, you can.  Both sites try to combat spam as that is the biggest problem on the the internet these days.

From the look of things, the two sites look simular but thats where the differences lie. What makes them so different you may ask. Hubpages has capsules while squidoo has modules. Both also have some money makers.

Hubpages is more for writing articles and is very limiting when it comes to html and css. In order to make money through hubpages, you need your own amazon affiliate code and a adsense account to make money. Squidoo, you do not have to worry about that.

Squidoo has many different money making modules. Here at hubpages, we only have ebay and amazon.

Within a few month, you can start making some money on squidoo. With hubpages, you make some money through your adsense account, but it may take a while to build it up til you get a payout.  It really is a slow and steady process that requires some work to get there.

When I first started writing online, I had started out with Squidoo. If you get the hang of their system, you can handle hubpages setup. Now if you were to start the other way around, it may be a bit frustrating.  There are some things I like a bout squidoo better and other things I like about hubpages better.

What I like best about hubpages is that you can have two capsules right next to each other.

What I like best about squidoo is that you can create lenses with html and css.  You also have numerous different modules you can use.

The truth of the matter is that both sites can compliment each other. Both sites have their pros and cons and in all honestly, they are both great sites and making money on both sites does take work. At this writing, I am currently making money on squidoo but not on here yet. It will take time before this one will be paying off, but I know it will happen.  This is always why it is a good idea to write on multiple sites as every little penny does add up.
