Ebonite Tornado
68
Have you heard about the Ebonite Tornado. If you have been a long time bowler and you are looking to up your game from throwing a straight ball to a hook ball, this is the ball for you.
Don't expect for you game to improve drastically once you get the ball as it takes time to improve in that area. The best advantage with going with this ball, is to get used to throwing a hook ball and getting used to a new ball.

Great Hook Ball
The Ebonite Tornado is the next step up if you are throwing a straight ball. It is a great starter hookball. The reason why I went with an Ebonite is because is known for great hook balls. It is a good entry level hookball. I really have not had problems with it really. The highest score that I have hit with this ball is a 197 where my highest score (which I had bowled that season) was a 196. I bowled a 196 with my zone ball.
Getting Adjusted
Like any ball, there is always going to take time to get adjusted. Its even harder when you are going from having a ball that is drilled for conventional bowling compared to fingertip bowling. So, when I went to fingertip, I had to get used to the different way. Some things I have to remember is to not grip the ball with my thumb and let it roll. You would be amazed and what can happen if you don't think about it.
Is it worth Getting?
If you are looking for a good starter hook ball, I would suggest this one. If you have it drill and the correct weight, it will do what it is designed to do. It does not have a major hook, but it does hook and it hooks very nicely. It is designed for light to medium oiled lanes.
